About the university

The University of Saint Louis (USL), Tuguegarao City, Philippines was founded by the Congregatio Immaculati Cordis Mariae(CICM) or the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1965 and opened as a school for boys and was named Saint Louis School. In 1968, with the offering of four undergraduate programs, the school was later renamed as Saint Louis College of Tuguegarao. In 2002, the Commission on Higher Education granted to the institution its application for a change of charter, thereby the birth of University of Saint Louis. USL is a center of 21st century education advancing in MISSIO ET EXCELLENTIA through relevant instruction, dynamic research, responsive community engagement, global partnership, sustainable operation, and jubilating faith. Inspired by the Wisdom of God, USL as a CICM Catholic academic community, is committed to integral human formation for the building of the Church and society.
