The University of the Capital was established in 2018 by virtue of the decision of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Samahat Al-Ataa Educational Services Limited Liability Company, No. (4) of 2018, to be a source of scientific and civilized radiation for thought, culture, humanities and applied sciences, as it aims to spread science and knowledge and effective participation in serving society and preserving the environment. Since its establishment, the university has given top priority to building its programs according to quality standards and in accordance with the aspirations of the state and areas of interest to be a tool for development and improvement in the higher education sector in the State of Libya, as its scientific programs and study plans were developed based on the reference of Libyan universities, and in accordance with the needs of society and the changing labor market, while ensuring full commitment to academic standards, while ensuring the provision of appropriate educational services, including the availability of classrooms, scientific laboratories, service support facilities and various student affairs services. To ensure the success of the educational process and the availability of practical educational services, plans, mechanisms and procedures were developed that ensure the process proceeds according to quality standards controls.
