About the university

Al-Hawash Private University is one of the leading private higher education institutions in Syria. It was established in 2007 as "Al-Hawash Private University of Pharmacy and Cosmetology" by Presidential Decree No. 258. Five years later, in 2012, the universitys name was changed to "Al-Hawash Private University." Al-Hawash Private University is a non-profit university accredited by the Syrian Ministry of Higher Education. Al-Hawash Private University is located in Wadi al-Nasara, a picturesque and peaceful area in western Syria, near the Lebanese border and administratively affiliated with Homs Governorate. It is close to the regions most popular tourist attractions: "Crack de Chevalier" and "St. Georges Monastery." The campus contains four academic buildings with beautiful architectural designs that suit both the surrounding natural environment and educational purposes. Al-Hawash Private University offers state-of-the-art facilities, along with a wide range of academic, administrative, and personal support services. Students have access to comprehensive, high-tech libraries, personal computer networks, and a state-of-the-art research center.
