About the university

University of Al Maarif in Al-Anbar Province was established in 1993 under the Private Universities and Colleges Law No. 13 of 1996 (as amended). It is the first private university in Al-Anbar Province and the sixth private university in Iraq. Over the past three decades, the university has graduated thousands of students from the province. The University operates under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Republic of Iraq and is recognized as a reputable institution both locally and internationally. The University of Al-Maarif leads the path of advancement and progress in the academic and social spheres of Al-Anbar Province and Iraq as a whole, through its commitment to quality across all aspects of the educational process. The university administration is keen on attracting highly qualified and experienced faculty members, providing all necessary resources for teaching and learning, including fully equipped classrooms and laboratories, as well as offering distinguished campus facilities for students.
